VISA EXTENSION
D-2(Student) visa holders must extend the visa before it expires. They can extend their visa as long as they keep their status as a student. The expiration date is specified on a foreigner registration card and the expiration date is renewed for one year at a time. Students are strongly advised to extend the visa at least two weeks before the expiration date.

- Certificate of Studentship (issued at UOU Educational Affairs Team (Former Student Service Center))
- Certificate of Tuition Payment (or Certificate of Scholarship) (printed through UWINS)
- Bank Statement indicating a minimum balance of KRW 7,000,000 (or Letter of Financial Support)

Graduate students who completed the coursework
- Certificate of Completion (issued at UOU Educational Affairs Team (Former Student Service Center))
- Letter of Recommendation (including a detailed thesis schedule) from an advisor
- Bank Statement indicating a minimum balance of KRW 7,000,000 (or Letter of Financial Support)

- Certificate of Studentship (issued at UOU International Office)
- Certificate of Tuition Payment (issued at UOU International Office)
